Designed for municipally treated water, this high-capacity system combines multiple filtration and water-conditioning technologies in one durable unit to help reduce chlorine, sediment, odors, metals and other unwanted contaminants.
Unlike traditional salt-based water softeners, the Ultra-Tech system does not use salt or electricity. Its breakthrough magnetic-field technology conditions the water for a softer feel while leaving naturally occurring minerals in the water.
8 Stages of Whole-House Water Treatment
Stages 1, 2 & 3 – Proprietary Carbon Blend
Helps reduce chlorine, sediment, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), herbicides, heavy metals, THMs, and unpleasant tastes and odors.
Stage 4 – B2 Proprietary Media Blend
A specialized blend including zeolites helps reduce chloramines, fluoride, emerging contaminants including pharmaceuticals, PFOA and PFOS, lead, cadmium, copper, zinc, chromium, glyphosate, manganese, arsenic, nickel, mercury, bromine and pesticides.
Stage 5 – DS Composite™
Helps reduce scale and gives the water a softer feel without a traditional salt-based water softener.
Stage 6 – NSF-Certified KDF 55 Media
Helps control bacteria, algae and fungi while reducing chlorine, pesticides, organic matter, hydrogen sulfide and certain heavy metals, including lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic.
Stage 7 – High-Density Garnet Bed
Designed to remove remaining carbon fines and sediment before the water leaves the system.
Stage 8 – Magnetic Field Water Conditioning
Conditions water without salt or electricity. Designed to reduce spotting and scale buildup, while helping hair feel silkier and skin feel softer.
Automatic Backwashing for Longer Filter Life
The backwashing feature helps flush away accumulated sediment, particulate matter and impurities, improving water flow and extending the useful life of the filtration media. With most municipally treated water, the system eliminates the need for a separate pre-filter.
A built-in bypass system also makes servicing the unit or replacing filtration media more convenient.

The Ultra-Tech Whole House Water System features a lightweight, high-performance composite inner tank protected by an attractive 18/8 stainless-steel outer jacket. Water is treated at the point of entry, providing filtered water throughout the home—from the kitchen and bathrooms to showers and laundry.

Ultra-Tech WH 500 & WH 750 Backflush Valve
The backflush valve allows the Ultra-Tech Whole House Water System to periodically clean and refresh its filtration media. During normal operation, water passes through the media where sediment and other impurities can accumulate over time.
When the valve is placed in the backwash position, it redirects the water flow through the tank to flush accumulated sediment and particulate matter out of the media bed. This process also loosens, lifts and resettles the garnet and specialty filtration media, helping restore proper water flow and prepare the system for continued filtration. The Ultra-Tech documentation specifically describes backwashing after installation, and product documentation says the backwashing feature can improve water flow, contact time and media life.
