No timer needed? Select your temperature and the skillet will continue cooking until you press OFF.
Automatic Rice Cooker
Turn your Oil Core electric skillet into an automatic rice cooker.
RIC1: 1–3 cups dry rice
RIC2: 4–5 cups dry rice
Add the rice, liquid and seasonings, select the appropriate rice program and let the digital control do the rest.
When cooking is complete, the probe automatically switches to KEEP WARM at 150°F / 65°C.
Maximum capacity: 5 cups dry rice.

170–190°F – Dips, BBQ and gentle cooking
175°F – Soups, chili, chowder and fondue

Bake in Your Oil Core Electric Skillet
Your electric skillet can even become a convenient countertop baker for cakes, brownies, cornbread and casseroles.
- Prepare batter according to your recipe.
- Lightly butter or spray the skillet, or line with parchment.
- Preheat the covered skillet to 250°F.
- Add batter and cover.
- Increase temperature to 300°F.
- Set the timer according to the approximate baking time for a 9-inch pan.
- Allow baked goods to cool slightly before removing.
TIP: Turn the lid upside down immediately after removing it so condensation does not drip onto your baked goods.
Easy Digital Controls
TEMP – Turns the control on and selects temperature.
UP/DOWN ARROWS – Adjust cooking temperature.
TIME – Programs cooking for up to 12 hours.
TEMP + TIME – Switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
SIGNAL LIGHT – Blinks while heating, becomes steady when the selected temperature is reached and cycles as necessary to maintain cooking temperature.
OFF – Turns the control off.
