Makes 8 Servings – Preparation Time 2 hours

Equipment: Bowl, Mixer, 2 Stainless Steel Loaf Pans

Ingredients All at Room Temperature

  • 3 sticks butter
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese (homemade or packaged)
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 6 whole eggs
  • 3 cups cake flour or all purpose
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Directions

Beat the butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time and continue to mix. Add the flour a cup at a time and beat until creamy and smooth. 

Pour into a greased and floured Bundt or 2 loaf pans pan. Place in a cold oven and bake at 300ᵒF for 1½ hours. Test for doneness with a toothpick. If not done bake another 5 to 10 minutes.
