This Health Craft 1¼-Qt Sauté Saucepan with Steam Control Vented Lid was manufactured in the USA in 1999 in the original Health Craft Silver Classic style. Constructed of 5-ply T304s Nicromium Surgical Stainless Steel, it features a non-reactive stainless steel cooking surface, classic phenolic long handle and helper handle, rolled pouring rim and a smooth interior with no exposed screws or rivets to collect food residue.
At 8½ inches wide, this versatile pan can be used as a small skillet, sauté pan or saucepan. It's ideal for browning and searing chicken breasts, steaks, chops and fish fillets, then deglazing or finishing with liquid in the same pan. With the vented cover in place, it's also excellent for preparing vegetables using the waterless cooking method, utilizing the foods' natural moisture while helping preserve flavor and nutrients. Capacity: 1.25 quarts. Approx. 8.5" W × 2.25" H; 4" H with lid.
