The Ultra-Tech II 1-Quart Saucepan is the ideal size for smaller portions and everyday waterless cooking. Choosing the right-size pan matters: for best results, fresh vegetables should generally fill the saucepan about two-thirds to three-quarters full, allowing their natural moisture to circulate beneath the covered lid. Instead of boiling vegetables in unnecessary water, controlled low-temperature cooking helps retain their natural flavor, color and texture. When properly filled, this compact saucepan can prepare approximately 3–4 adult servings of vegetables or up to 6 smaller side servings.
