Operating Instructions

Insert probe into appliance and plug into a wall outlet (red indicator light appears).

TEMP – Turns unit ON (display flashes 150°F).
-
OFF – Turns unit OFF.
-
°F / °C – With unit ON, press TEMP + TIME.

Up/Down Arrows –

Tap for 5°F / 1°C adjustments

Hold to jump 25°F (10°C)

Signal Light –

Blinks while heating

Steady when target temp is reached

Cycles during cooking to maintain accuracy

TIMER – Press TIME to set up to 12 hours.

Unit runs until timer expires or OFF is pressed.

If no time is set, it cooks continuously at selected temperature.

Automatic Rice Cooker Function
The probe features two fully automatic rice programs:

RIC1 – For 1–3 cups dry rice
-
RIC2 – For 4–5 cups dry rice
How to use:
-
Add rice, liquid, and seasonings.
-
Press TEMP → then press DOWN ARROW to select RIC1 or RIC2.

Heating begins automatically.
-
When rice is done, the unit switches to KEEP WARM (150°F / 65°C).
Capacity: Maximum 5 cups dry rice.
Do not exceed capacity.

210–230°F / 99–110°C – Baking custards & casseroles, jams, candy
230–250°F / 110–121°C – Eggs, pre-heat for baking
275–300°F / 135–150°C – Steaming, sautéing, roux, baking cakes & cornbread
350°F / 175°C – Fish, seafood, grilled sandwiches
375–400°F / 191–205°C – Stir-fry, deep-fry, pancakes, pasta boiling
425–450°F / 218–232°C – Boiling, browning, searing meats
Baking Instructions (Cakes, Brownies, Cornbread)

Follow standard box directions (oil may be replaced with pineapple juice for cakes).

Butter/spray pan or line with parchment.
-
Preheat covered skillet to 250°F (120°C).
-
Add batter, cover, increase to 300°F (150°C).
-
Set timer according to 9-inch pan instructions.
-
Unit shuts OFF automatically when timer ends.
-
Cool slightly, loosen edges, and invert to remove.
Moisture Tip: Turn lid upside down immediately after removing to prevent condensation from dripping onto baked goods.
