Valentine’s Day, celebrated on February 14, traces its origins to Saint Valentine, a 3rd-century Roman priest who was martyred for performing secret marriages. The holiday also absorbed traditions from Lupercalia, an ancient Roman festival celebrating fertility and renewal.
By the Middle Ages, Valentine’s Day became associated with romantic love, aided by poets like Geoffrey Chaucer. Over time, the exchange of love notes and gifts evolved into today’s celebration of romance and devotion. 💝

🔥 Induction Cooking Instructions & Cooking by Temperature
Step 1: Filet Mignon — Health Craft Skillet
- Remove steaks from refrigerator 30–45 minutes before cooking.
- Season lightly with salt.
- Preheat skillet:
- Induction Level 6 (~350°F) for 2 minutes
- Water droplet should dance and evaporate cleanly
- Place steaks in dry skillet (no oil required).
- Sear 3–4 minutes per side, undisturbed, until steaks release naturally.
- Reduce heat to Level 5 (~300–325°F).
- Cook to internal temperature:
- 130–135°F (medium-rare, recommended)
- Optional: Add butter during final minute and spoon over steaks.
- Remove and rest 5–7 minutes, loosely tented or lid slightly ajar.
✔ Result: deep caramelized sear, tender center, zero grease.
Step 2: Whole Lobster — 7-Quart Stockpot with Pasta Basket
- Fill pot with purified or filtered water and add sea salt.
- Bring to a gentle rolling boil:
-
Induction Level 5 (~300°F)
(Health Craft’s efficiency does not require high settings) - Insert pasta basket and carefully place whole lobsters headfirst into pot.
- Cover and cook:
- 8–9 minutes for 1 lb lobsters
- Lobsters are done when shells turn bright red and tails curl naturally
- Lift basket immediately and allow lobsters to cool slightly.
- Remove meat from shells:
- Twist off tails and claws
- Crack shells gently and remove meat whole
- Cut lobster meat into large medallions.
- Reserve ½ cup lobster cooking water for sauce.
🦞 Using the pasta basket prevents overcooking and preserves natural sweetness.
Step 3: Garlic Butter Lobster Cream Sauce
- Empty pot and return to cooktop on Level 4–4.5 (~250–275°F).
- Melt butter gently.
- Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds (do not brown).
- Stir in cream and reserved lobster water.
- Simmer gently 2–3 minutes, just until lightly thickened.
- Add cheese, lemon juice, and smoked paprika.
- Return lobster meat to sauce and warm gently 2–3 minutes, just to absorb flavor.
- Finish with fresh chives; season to taste.
✨ Silky, rich, and perfectly controlled, never scorched.
