BLENDING IN A JUG OR JAR
It is recommended that a blending jug is not filled more than 2/3 full, this is to allow the blenidng stick to move up and down without the contents spilling over.
BLENDING IN A SAUCEPAN
If using the blending stick to puree food in a saucepan or pot, ensure that the saucepan or pot is removed from the heat source and the food or liquid has cooled down sufficiently to avoid the risk of scalding. Do not let the hand blender sit in a hot pan on the stove top when not in use. Do not scratch the blending stick over the bottom of pans especially non-stick coated pans. Be sure the liquid does not come above the joint between the blending stick and the motor body.
USING THE WHISK
Use the whisk to whipl up cream, beat egg whites, and whip up ready mix desserts. For best result, use the whisk in a deep bowl and use the whisk at an angle when whisking. When whisking egg whites, whisk not more than 4 egg whites at a time. When making whipped cream be sure to use fresh cold cream.
